Bread and wine in Bordeaux at Levain le Vin!

On the menu of Levain le Pain: natural sourdough bread with organic flour, crushed on a stone millstone, good wine and charcuterie and cheese carefully selected by itself. A place of sharing, exchange and meeting. Margaux took over a place near Rue de la Rousselle to turn it into a bakery. She started out as a pastry chef and has always had a love of working with dough.

Good bread all day long.

All day, she prepares, kneads, bakes the bread in front of the customer. It also offers a menu of sandwiches, salads, platters and desserts for lunch and dinner.
Margaux offers sandwiches, salads during the lunch break and, in the evening, charcuterie/cheese platters made in front of the customer by the minute.
She works with products within a short scope: the white ham comes from the “Boucherie Bouche” but she also works with Tome de Bazas. It also has a wine cellar section with wines from Gironde such as Galipette, a Saint Emilion or Chateau Clos Seric, one between two seas.
