Bravo Coffee | When music and coffee go hand in hand

The new project of Cœur de pirate and her husband Marc Flynn combines their respective passions, music and catering.

The Bravo record label — formerly Dare to Care, acquired and renamed by Béatrice Martin — has set up an eponymous café in Mile End.

While the offices are upstairs, there is a recording studio in the basement as well as a café in front of the street, boulevard Saint-Laurent.

  • It serves hot and cold drinks, as well as pastries.  Employees of the record label, as well as passers-by, can also have a snack there with a breakfast sandwich, a grilled cheese or a BLT, for example.

“We thought that coffee and offices go together,” says Marc Flynn, co-owner of the premises with the same accomplices as the Entre-deux café-bar in NDG, Félix Poirier and Alex Quinton Brunet. As long as it’s just offered to people who work, people who pass in the street can also come and shop the merchandise of the artists who are on the label. »

It serves coffee, pastries and also a few sandwiches for a quick lunch. While waiting for our order, we can watch the vinyls of the artists represented by Bravo, while listening to their music, which plays in the café. A perfect combination of two complementary passions!
