Unsurprisingly, Colin Trevorrow’s film, Jurassic World: Dominiontopped the box office last weekend in Quebec, surpassing the other spring blockbuster, Top Gun: Maverickstarring Tom Cruise.

The two feature films earned just over $1.4 million and $820,000 respectively. Top Gun exceeded $5 million in just two weeks in Quebec.
Also in its second week in theaters, Monia Chokri’s film Baby sitter is still part of the Top 10 in Quebec. It appears at 7e rank, with a measly $19,773, ahead of a few hundred dollars, No chicane in my cabin. This first feature film by Quebec director Sandrine Brodeur-Desrosiers (just me and you), which caters to tween audiences, rose to 9e position on the Cinéac charts in its very first theatrical weekend, with $18,116.
