Bourg-de-Péage caught up in his extra-sporting stories
Impeccable on the court, both in terms of results and state of mind, the players of Bourg-de-Péage learned very bad news before the shock at the top against the leader Metz this Wednesday evening at the Vercors complex. After a decision by the National Control and Management Commission (the CNCG), they now find themselves 8th in the standings with 9 points less. This sanction fell because of “the late sending of certain administrative and financial documents”. It is therefore not the content of the documents that is in question. The CNCG should say more next week but in the meantime, it’s a new blow for the Bourg-de-Péage club whose deficit would be around 450 thousand euros. The leaders of the Drôme club have until next Wednesday, the 23 February, to appeal. This Wednesday evening, the club had not yet made a decision.
