Boubacar Kamara returns to the Blues. The Aston Villa player was summoned by Didier Deschamps, Sunday June 11, to compensate for Adrien Rabiot’s package. “The Juventus midfielder had tests which revealed a right calf injury”, revealed a press release from the French Football Federation. The former Olympique de Marseille player had not played for the France team since his third selection, in June 2022 against Croatia.

He will therefore be alongside the band of vice-world champions during the next two matches against Gibraltar (Friday, 8:45 p.m.) and Greece (Monday, June 19, 8:45 p.m.), counting for the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Thanks to his two victories against the Netherlands (4-0) and Ireland (1-0) last March, France are at the top of their group. Boubacar is expected by the tricolor staff on Monday at Clairefontaine.
