Botanical Garden and La Ronde | Halloween before its time

Can’t wait to celebrate Halloween? No need to wait until October 31 to immerse yourself in a magical universe.

Since last Saturday and until the end of the month, Kalbacius the Sorcerer has taken control of the Great Greenhouse of the Botanical Garden. The strange character will be surrounded by fantastic creatures and Petiole, his apprentice, who must obtain her sorcerer’s diploma. Young and old are invited to help the young magician acquire all the required skills by participating in wand-wielding classes and potions workshops. Frisson the squirrel will also be there, who will be starring in a play presented every day.

More of a thrill-seeker? Every weekend, from October 7 to 31, the Fright Festival returns to La Ronde. Five haunted houses, including two new ones, promise to scare even the bravest. As usual, zombies, ghouls and other frightening characters will invade the entire site, which will not be recommended for ages 12 and under from 5:30 p.m. until it closes. Younger children are invited in the afternoon to the Pumpkin Festival, where shows, funny monsters and inhabitants of the Candy Kingdom await them.
