Bost Axola – Aitormena

They are from Urrugne and have known each other forever.
They sing from a very young age, and after an experience rich in teachings within the Tximi Txama choir, they continued the adventure, by creating their group, Bost Axola.
For 3-4 years, they have been revisiting well-known hits, in Basque, English or Spanish.
Their album, “Gitarra Baten soiuaz”, was released in the summer of 2022.

“Aitormena”, the cult song of Hertzainak

Among the titles of their album, there is the cover of Hertzainak’s hit, “Aitormena”, which although released in 1989 – at a time they did not know but which they heard about from their parents – remains a classic to this day.
This title evokes a breakup, or reading between the lines, stopping hard drugs.
Bost Axola sings it in his own way, all in vocal harmonies, also drawing inspiration from the performance of the group Demode Quartet, specializing in a cappella songs, and bringing to it the lightness of their age.
