Borough of Saint-Laurent | Two men injured in shooting

SPVM police intervened at the scene of a shooting in the borough of Saint-Laurent, in Montreal, on the night of Saturday to Sunday.

A 30-year-old man with upper body injuries was found at the scene while another 22-year-old was treated after he went to a hospital. We don’t fear for their lives.

“According to the first information, a gathering was taking place in a room located in the industrial sector and a conflict would have degenerated outside. And that’s when the two victims were injured, ”said SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils.

Forensic identification technicians are still on the scene, Hickmore Street, Sunday morning, trying to understand the circumstances of the event.

No arrests have yet been made and the investigation is ongoing.
