A three-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle on Friday evening in the borough of Saint-Laurent, in Montreal. She was injured, but we don’t fear for her life.

Emergency services were called shortly after 8 p.m. when a westbound vehicle on Saint-Louis Street collided with the child near Bertrand Street.
The victim, who was in the street, suffered upper body injuries and was transported to a hospital, according to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). The motorist was not injured.
A perimeter was erected and investigators were dispatched to the scene to clarify the circumstances of the event.
