A 14-year-old teenager was allegedly stabbed in the courtyard of a school in the borough of Anjou late Friday afternoon.

The Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) received a call Friday around 4 p.m. reporting a teenager who was allegedly stabbed in the parking lot of a school in Anjou, at the corner of avenues Chénier de l’Aréna, indicates Mariane Allaire-Morin, spokesperson for the SPVM.
According to witnesses, the 14-year-old victim was injured by a sharp weapon following a conflict that would have degenerated. The young man was taken to hospital. His life is not in danger, according to the authorities.
The suspect reportedly fled before officers arrived. A security perimeter has been established and an investigation is underway.
