After the adoption of the motion to reject the immigration bill in the National Assembly, Monday December 11, the government decided to convene a joint joint committee (CMP). “There request which was ours, it was the withdrawal. The government realized that it did not have a majority, and it should draw conclusions from this. (…) He prefers the forced passage and the closed session of a CMP. The motion to reject was adopted in the Assembly thanks to the votes of the left but also from the right, including the extreme right with the National Rally (RN). Reacting to criticism of socialists, notably Elizabeth Borne, Prime Minister, Boris Vallaud answers : “We have never voted, as far as we are concerned, on a proposal from RN. We did not elect vice-presidents (RN, Editor’s note) with our votes in the National Assembly.” “We voted for the text which was proposed by the environmental group, period.
