Books and cats

You like cats and you like books, because many of you responded to my call for reading suggestions on felines on February 3.

I even had the impression of missing out on a phenomenon, when an impressive number of readers proposed A cat’s memoirs, by Hiro Arikawa, in my inbox. Besides, it was out of stock at my bookstore where I wanted to buy it, but I could see that the translation of the sequel, Goodbye cats!, recently hit the shelves. Here is a short list of your suggestions, to read with kitty. Good reading !

– The Memoirs of a Catby Hiro Arikawa

– Chance catsby Anny Duperey

– The cat cycle (Tomorrow the cats, Her majesty of cats And The planet of cats), by Bernard Werber

– A cat’s lifeby Yves Navarre

– The catby Colette

– The philosopher catby Kwong Kuen Shan

– Alfie, the cat of happinessby Rachel Wells

– Abandoning a cat – Memories of my fatherby Haruki Murakami

– The Nine Lives of Edwardby Chrystine Brouillet

– What if cats disappeared from the world…by Genki Kawamura
