The boil water advisory began on Wednesday due to work caused by a water main break on a main line located on Pierrefonds Boulevard. “Teams from the Agglomeration are currently on site to repair the pipe,” the City said in a press release.

The area affected by this notice is located on boulevard de Pierrefonds, between boulevard Saint-Charles and rue de Nanterre and between rue Guillaume and rue Émile-Nelligan. A drop in water pressure or water interruptions are to be expected during the duration of the repair work, the city warns.

Affected residents should boil water for at least 1 minute before consuming it or using it to brush their teeth. Unboiled drinking water can however be used for hygiene care or other domestic purposes.
