The Stones with Louis-Jean Cormier in 2015

“It’s the first time I’ve seen them perform. Mick Jagger’s energy was incredible. Such a presence on stage at their age, it marked me. I was in the crowd with Louis-Jean Cormier. We had met a few times, but never really talked to each other. It was great. They made all the songs you want to hear.”

Keith Urban admitted it

“It’s the only time I’ve done the Plains and the biggest crowd I’ve played for. I had seen a Keith Urban show on a promo tour out west, and my record label rep had invited me to his dressing room and I had met him. I saw him again when I first played on the Plains and he remembered my name. I found that really enjoyable.”

The Dovecote in the rain

“The first time I played at Le Pigeonnier was at the time of the album Better In Time and it was raining a lot that day. I was a first part. Because of the rain, our performance had been reduced, but I remember the pouring rain and people shouting my name. It’s a vivid memory.”
