If there is a model that directly targets aficionados from BMW’s M division, it’s the M2. A natural extension of the evanescent 1M, the creation takes us back to a time when sports cars did not necessarily chase lap times, but rather sought to connect with their jockey. This is exactly what the new M2 recently unveiled wants to do in a range that is gradually turning towards electric.

The engine with a displacement of 3 L also wins the change with now 453 hp to convince and 406 lb-ft of torque. Everything is relayed to the ground by means of a traction control system with 10 settings modulated by an electronic differential. If you are less interested in the six-speed manual transmission, it can be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The distribution of the masses between the front and the rear remains, moreover, equal and the dynamic damping is used for the flexibility of the behavior.
