Blue Origin | Pete Davidson won’t go into space after all

(Washington) American comedian Pete Davidson, who has been making headlines since the revelation of his relationship with reality TV star Kim Kardashian, will not be going to space next week as originally announced.

The 28-year-old star of Saturday Night LiveNBC’s cult show, is “no longer able to join the NS-20 crew for this mission,” Blue Origin said in a statement late Thursday.

Jeff Bezos’ space company, which invited Davidson to make the trip, did not specify the reasons for his withdrawal from this flight scheduled for March 23, an 11-minute getaway aboard a rocket that was to take off from the West Texas.

The other five passengers, including businessmen, paid an undisclosed price for the trip.

The mission itself has now been postponed until March 29, and Blue Origin said it will soon announce a new sixth crew member.

Jeff Bezos himself had participated in the first flight of New Shepard. Since then, the craft has also transported the actor playing the series’ iconic Captain Kirk. star trekWilliam Shatner, or Laura Shepard Churchley, the daughter of the first American to go into space.
