Blue Jays President Mark Shapiro has unveiled the Blue Jays home renovation plan, which includes replacing all seats on the 500 level by the start of next season.
Opened in 1989, the Rogers Center is the seventh oldest stadium used by a Major League Baseball team.
It is only one of three Major League Baseball stadiums not designed exclusively for baseball, along with RingCentral Coliseum in Oakland and Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay.
Shapiro said the work was intended to make the Rogers Center more baseball-specific.
