In the heart of the neighborhood Saint-Remi of Reims, an architectural setting listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site houses the history of the city of coronations. It is in the former Saint-Remi abbey that this eponymous museum awaits to tell you about the evolution of the metropolis, since its origins. Reconstructions, historical models, archaeological and artistic collections are thus to be discovered.
From June 22 to September 30, 2022, on the occasion of the “museums go green” season, discover the exhibition “Like a Rémois in the water”, retracing the history of water in Reims. Surprising and unprecedented, it includes a collection of objects from the simplest to the most sophisticated, proof of the ingenuity of man in trying to tame this vital element.
