Around 6:30 a.m., around thirty die-hards stood in front of the concrete barricades erected by the police on Saturday evening. From the small group, the “Liberties” burst forth and the flags of Canada waved. In front of them, many agents form a line.

Some protesters are gathered in a circle around propane bottles. Tim Bowes says he’s been on the scene since 2 a.m. “I’m going to rest when more people arrive to take over,” he said.

In front of them, many police cars are still present. At this time, there is no movement on the Ambassador Bridge. At the time of publishing, we had not been able to reach authorities regarding this matter.

On Saturday morning, a police operation forced the demonstrators back, until the main intersection was freed. However, the crowd was present all day, despite the departure of the trucks.
