Bloc MP in isolation due to COVID-19

After a Bloc Québécois MP contracted COVID-19, the party took the opportunity to recall the importance of the health measures still in place.

Caroline Desbiens, MP for Beauport—Côte-de-Beaupré—Île d’Orléans—Charlevoix, learned that she had contracted the virus using a rapid screening test.

“Mme Desbiens placed herself in isolation in her residence, in accordance with the instructions of the Public Health of Quebec, ”said the Bloc Québécois in a press release published on Saturday.

The party also took this opportunity to remind the population of the importance of vaccination, social distancing, wearing a mask and washing hands.
