Laure Sansus, who had announced hanging up her cleats after the New Zealand World Cup, therefore played the last match of her career against XV de la Rose on October 15. A key element of the France group, she also started against South Africa in the opening match of the competition. “You never choose your exit and my situation is a perfect example of this. Of course, I would have preferred to end my career differently”she reacted in the FFR press release. “In the absence of being able to fight on the ground with the girlfriends, I will show the same relentlessness by pushing behind them in the stands.” To replace her, the Blagnacaise Marie Dupouy joins the group of 32 players.
