A condominium building was engulfed in flames in Blainville, in the Lower Laurentians, Thursday evening.
The fire broke out shortly before 10 p.m., before the flames spread to the floors of the building located on Curé-Labelle Boulevard, near 56th Avenue.
A fifth alarm was triggered due to the scale of the blaze, but it is not known whether any injuries were recorded.
Emergency services were on the scene.
Several fire departments from neighboring towns were called to the rescue to lend a hand to the Blainville firefighters.
The intense cold of the night somewhat complicated the work of the firefighters.
We remember that part of this building collapsed when the building was under construction, exactly two years ago. Three masons had been injured.
