“Black on white”, the first novel by Christophe Narbonne

Early 1980s, in the Parisian suburbs. While the arrival of the Left in power arouses the hope of a revival, Pascal, twelve years old, bears the full brunt of the separation of his parents and withdraws into himself.. His fate changes when he fraternizes with Alex, the college’s most popular student. Pascal is white, Alex is black. A detail ? Not so much when you’re twelve and looking for an identity. Quit leaving feathers there.

Christophe Narbonne has been a journalist for twenty-five years. He spent most of his career with the magazine Première, the leader in the cinema press. He likes both Alfred Hitchcock and Kool & The Gang, sports and comics. Black on white is his first novel, published by Editons Asyelle.
