Since January 20, Arié Elmaleh and Virginie Hocq have been starring in the play Love in others which tells the story of three couples against a backdrop of corporate hierarchy and adultery. To ensure the promotion of this work, the two actors were invited this Sunday, January 28, 2024, to the set of the show The Good Sunday Show on RTL.
Facing the host Bruno Guillon, Arié Elmaleh and Virginie Hocq recounted their first meeting. Against all expectations, the Belgian actress then described this meeting as “insistent”. Shocked and bursting into laughter, Arié Elmaleh then said a little “bitch” to his colleague. Amused in the most complete incomprehension, Bruno Guillon then tried to understand why Virginie Hocq used this word to describe their meeting.
“She said ‘insistent’ because we filmed together in Belgium, 18 years ago, and she drove me home in her Toyota Corolla, and there was a bit of seduction” then launched Gad’s little brother Elmaleh. “Not from me !” Virginie Hocq then took it over. “Well I thought we were going to kiss, well she never wanted to” added Arie Elmaleh. And the pretty blonde confirms: “There you go! This is the first meeting!”.Surprised by the revelations of his colleague, Arié Elmaleh then pretended to be annoyed : “But I didn’t insist! I never insisted! But sue me while you’re at it![…] I offered my lips for a kiss!” Bruno Guillon then declared: “I just put my finger on something.” And Virginie Hocq responds to this statement with humor: “Well, he hasn’t managed to put his finger on anything!” Enough to provoke enormous laughter from the three personalities and guests present in the audience of the show.
