A fundraiser is organized Sunday by Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Estrie, to help Ukraine.

Arina Zinchenko is worried about her loved ones, but she can count on the support of her university community and her friends with this collection which will take place at the Centennial Theater.
The money will be used for current Ukrainian students, but also to welcome refugee students as soon as they arrive on Quebec soil.
Material donations are also being collected. The campus reverend’s initiative is already very popular with the community wanting to help. The needs are specific and will be transported to Ukraine by a Ukrainian transport company.
Students worried about their loved ones still caught in the country at war can at least count on the support of their community.
