Thanks to a device of hidden cameras installed in a thermal sieve, the magazine was able to test several companies in the sector that nevertheless had the famous RGE label, issued by the public authorities. Between the unscrupulous salespeople who pretend to be civil servants and the completely botched quotes, the demonstration is edifying.
Every year, thousands of French people say they are victims of scams of all kinds: State aid that is never paid, heat pumps that do not work, forced or exorbitant loans.
The magazine’s teams have also succeeded in infiltrating a teleprospecting platform, these operators who call individuals to offer quotes for assistance with energy renovation. Some do not hide their objective, to sell at all costs, even if it means sometimes misleading the customer. How are these companies controlled?
