What if war was just a “man to man” fight in a ring? This is obviously a utopia, but some would dream of it. A boxing fight to define who would walk away with this or that prize. This system already exists, but only in sport. However, a few years ago, two rappers started a new “fad” to define who was the boss of the rap game. Booba and Kaaris must indeed challenge each other in an octagon. An event that ultimately never saw the light of day for various reasons.
This does not prevent other people from wanting to “solve their problems” in the famous arena. In a few weeks Dylan Thiry and Benjamin Samat should challenge each other at the Palais des Sports in Marseille to settle their differences. “If we do that, it’s something clean. (…) It’s boxing in the rules of the art. We’re going to do that with a lot of respect, a lot of discipline and with rules”announced the ex-boyfriend of Fiji to make it clear that this fight was more official than it seemed.
But in a few months, another similar fight could unfold. Provided that all parties accept it. Indeed, the billionaire, friend of Kanye West and CEO of the Tesla brand, Elon Musk, has just launched a funny challenge to… Vladimir Poutine. The first, having never hidden his support for Ukraine in the conflict between the country and Russia, wishes to do battle with the Russian Head of State and bring the country led by Volodymyr Zelensky into play.
“I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to a man-to-man fight. The stake is Ukraine”, wrote Elon Musk this Monday, March 14 on Twitter. This one adding to his request “Do you accept this fight?”, in a message written entirely in Russian, addressing the official Kremlin Twitter account. Some thinking it was a troll, were probably surprised when they discovered the billionaire’s answer. This one ensuring that he was “completely serious”. It remains to be seen whether his “rival” will respond to him.
I hereby challengeВладимир Путин to single combatStakes are Україна
