In these summer travel times, the Billie Le Kid children’s boutique located in the pedestrian village of Mont-Tremblant is worth the detour.
This lovely space opened its doors in September 2022 and sells children’s clothing, accessories, books, stuffed animals and toys, carefully selected by its three co-owners, Ariane Lescop, Julie Parenteau and Hélène Sourivong.
“We like the pedestrian village, we wanted to respect our identity. As for the store on Laurier, in Outremont, you can get there on foot,” confides Ariane Lescop.
The store is designed like a treasure chest. There are games, Elise Gravel’s books, accessories and clothing from local brands – like Velvet Moustache, Petit Lem and Birdz – and from elsewhere – like Petit Bateau and Patagonia.
“We’ve adjusted to Tremblant’s international clientele who often leave with gifts for children,” she says. “In the summer, we sell a lot of swimsuits, towels and Jellycat stuffed animals, it’s crazy!”
