A crazy success, which allows the twenty-year-old to seduce public figures from all sides, who agree to grant him exclusive interviews. At only 26 years old, Hugo Travers has already interviewed numerous French and international personalities, such as Angèle, Bill GatesHugh Jackman, Stromae, Thomas Pesquet, Max Verstappen, Pierre Niney and Christopher Nolan…but also many French political figures, who are banking on him to reach out to young people!
This is during the 2017 presidential election that Hugo Travers gained national fame ! Indeed, the young videographer managed, at just 20 years old, to obtain exclusive interviews with all the candidates for the Élysée: in turn, Benoît Hamon, Marine Le Pen, Jean-Luc Mélenchon and even Emmanuel Macron lent themselves to the ‘exercise. He did it again two years later with the European elections, and notably interviewed Nathalie Loiseau. More recently, on September 4, Hugo Travers interviewed Emmanuel Macron againon the sidelines of the start of the school year and the announcements made around the ban on the abaya at school.

This Saturday, October 28, 2023, Hugo Travers will take his first steps on France 2 and will be at the helm of a brand new monthly show broadcast after 1 p.m. by Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi, and baptized The face down interview. For this first, he will receive the French astronaut Thomas Pesquet, whom he had already interviewed on May 5, 2022. This program, which will be broadcast once a month on France 2, will last around thirty minutes.
