On Sunday September 11, the Grand Prix of Monza (Italy) took place on the grounds of the Ferrari team. An event this year since the Italian circuit is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Except that before the start of the race, the flagship driver of the scuderia, Charles Leclerc encountered some problems. “Nah it happens at all the grand prix mdrr”, “it had to happen at the grand prix at home mdrr”, “I assume that he will have a problem, that’s for sure, as a fan of Leclerc you have to hope more, y will have a problem, if there isn’t, so much the better, if there is, it’s normal”, “The race hasn’t started yet, it looks very long”, “THE GP HAS NOT EVEN STARTED YET”, ” Ferrari a real joke frankly”, “Come on, it was sure there was going to be a ball”, “No not that, not here, not now”, could we read on Twitter.

Finally, the Monegasque was able to start the race, in pole position, without the slightest difficulty. And about the result… “Yes the end was frustrating. We shouldn’t finish a race like that. I was really hoping to win in front of the tifosi today. We finished 2nd so I’m not really happy about that.” Charles Leclerc finished second ahead of George Russell (Mercedes) but behind his great rival, Max Verstappen. The Dutchman won for the 11th time this season. A fifth victory in a row which allows him to take off in the general classification. With 335 points on the clock, the defending champion has 116 more than his runner-up, 6 races from the end of the season.
