Friday October 21 was broadcast the seventh episode of Dancing with the Stars during which Florent Peyre and Inès Vandamme were eliminated. Viewers were able to discover a fifth judge, “mystery”, alongside Chris Marques, François Alu, Bilal Hassani and Marie-Agnès Gillot. It was, unsurprisingly, Denitsa Ikonomova. The return of the record holder of victories in the show was appreciated by the fans of the program even if they would have liked to see her dancing on the floor in the company of the handsome star dancer of the Ballet de l’Opéra de Paris.
Unfortunately, an injury prevented millions of people from living this magical moment. On her Instagram account, the 35-year-old first shared what she thought of this comeback.
“Coming back to DALS was great… To see everyone again, to feel that same energy, it’s indescribable”she told her community before opening up about her knee injury. “During rehearsals for this performance, I landed badly. As a result, I injured my knee”she replied to the user who had questioned her. “We will see if it is very very very serious. In any case, for the moment I can’t dance and I’m very very sad. I think it felt a bit yesterday on prime, because I wasn’t 100% myself, the cheerful Denitsa that everyone knows and is used to seeing.”.
There is no doubt that the choreographer, who has just broken another record (that of the most viewed DALS video worldwide, editor’s note) has received a ton of messages wishing her a speedy recovery!
