That said, it’s unclear whether he’ll be able to attend the bonuses next May because of his chemotherapy. Suffering from cancer, Florent Pagny had announced the sad news to his fans through a video posted on Instagram in mid-January. “Hello, I have to make a rather special announcement. I will not be able to continue my 60th anniversary tour. I have to cancel all of my concerts due to a health problem. Indeed, I have just been diagnosed with a tumor in the lungs, a cancerous tumor. Not very friendly. It can’t be operated so I have to go into a six month protocol of chemotherapy and x-rays. Which makes me sorry. But you all know that in life, the most important thing is health. When you have a problem, it becomes a priority. This explains the reason why I could not honor my commitments. Me and my other half have to put ourselves in warrior mode to face this rather special ordeal. I’m sorry. Take care of yourself, be well (…) When everything is settled, we meet again. We’ll come and finish what I started, maybe it’ll be the 61 tour” he explained.
That said, Florent Pagny is trying somehow to be positive and has appeared several times on sets in particular with his shaved head during a program intended to support Ukraine.
