“Curtain, we’re canceling everything!”. This sentence may have been premonitory. Indeed, in PAF, with BabaCyril Hanouna pretended to stop TPMP. This follows a remark from Polska after a revelation from Jacques Cardoze. The latter, invited to reveal his exchanges with Valérie Bénaïm a few hours earlier, assured that he had spent “a hot day” with the person who shares his life. At this announcement, the new columnist of the daily newspaper C8 jumped at the chance: “But at your age you still manage to…?“, she told him.
A statement that made the set die of laughter, and in particular Cyril Hanouna. “Curtain. We’re canceling everything!”, he then declared hilariously. But the curtain finally closed a few minutes later… and for good. Indeed, around 7:43 p.m., while the channel host was preparing to end the PAF, with Baba, to take over with TPMP, C8 stopped the broadcast. The usual commercial break ended up lasting almost 30 minutes.

“TPMP” victim of a huge bug
On the Web, many Internet users reacted to the technical problem. “TPMP CUT LIVE!”, “The show is no longer on and it’s now been 15 minutes!”, “TPMP returns in 60 seconds. Oh well actually no”, “Still not. Is this a Thierry Ardisson move or what?”reacted many users of X, formerly Twitter.
Around 8:15 p.m., the show finally returned, but not live. “The darlings #TPMP is back on @C8TV! Sorry for this little technical problem!”, announced the show’s X account. Since then, daily life has continued as if nothing had happened. So much so that some fans are wondering if the show is actually live given that no member of the team has spoken out on the matter yet.
