(North Woodstock) US President Joe Biden will announce by the end of the week whether or not he is reappointing Jerome Powell as President of the US Central Bank (Fed).
The long-awaited decision will be announced “in about four days,” the US president told reporters on Tuesday during a trip to New Hampshire.
There have been recent rumors that Ms Brainard, the Fed’s only Democratic governor, could replace Mr Powell.
