Quebec artists Beyries, Étienne Coppée, Pierre Kwenders, Queen Ka and Safia Nolin are taking part in the first Festival Transe Atlantique, which begins Thursday in Saintes, France.

Born from a desire to program “a great musical journey” bringing together French-speaking artists, this new meeting will also bring together French artists Walter Astral, Catastrophe, Joseph Chedid, Albin de la Simone, Gael Faure, Xavier Polycarpe and Erik Truffaz.
The festival stretches over three days and ends on Saturday. This is an initiative of Raphaëlle Chovin, director of several Beyries short films and music videos. She imagined and designed the event with Emmanuelle Girard, president of the artistic agency Comme c’est beau, which notably represents Alexandra Stréliski.
