Following the article published in The duty from June 18, 2024 Police officers united, even in crime, I sincerely wonder who we should trust. I believed that their code of ethics urged them to protect, above all, not to attack… and yet! Solidarity has its limits. While police officers are protected by their union, nothing in the article states that the same protection would be offered to their victims, even colleagues. The police forces would therefore be brought together in a conglomerate benefiting from extensive rights at the expense of possible victims, too often female.
