‘Beverly Hills 90210’ Star David Gail Dies at 58

David Gail died on Saturday January 20.

The news was announced by Peter Ferriero, who hosts and produces a podcast about the series Beverly Hills 90210. “His friends have just told me that our David Gail has died,” he wrote in a publication ephemeral on Instagram. I am so upset by this news. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to speak with him.”

David Gail, born in 1965 in Tampa, Florida, was best known for his role as Dr Joe Scanlon in Port Charles, the series derived from General Hospital. He had appeared in over 200 episodes. He also played the role of Stuart Carson in Beverly Hills 90210as well as roles in series such as Robin’s Hoods, Savannah, The Round Table, Matlock, EmergencyAnd JAG. He also worked for the cinema and collaborated on the adventure video game Blacksad: Under the Skin (2019).

His sister Katie Colmenares confirmed the news, alongside a photo of her hugging the actor. “There was barely a day in my life when you weren’t by my side,” she wrote on social media. Always my partner in crime, always my best friend ready to face anything and anyone with me. Bears will never be the same, but I will hold you so tight in my heart every day, you, the beautiful, loving, amazing, fierce human being, I miss you every second of every day forever. There will never be anyone other than you.”

David Gail’s cause of death has not been released.
