The bac exams, which were scheduled for March, will take place in mid-May. The students of a professor from Drancy, in Seine-Saint-Denis, almost all obtained the average in the white bac.

Under the mask of the professor of economics and social sciences Jeremy Fontanieu, that morning, a smile emerges. The 20 Hours has been following its final year students from Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis) since the start of the year. This is the third white baccalaureate in economics that he will give back to them. “We are getting there. Your MCQ scores have improved, your small white bac scores have progressed. Your normal white bac scores are what they are, they will progress”announces the professor to them. In total, 31 students out of 32 had the average.

There is one that has come a long way since the beginning of the year. Grace had never had the average before. She dared not believe it until she got a 10/20. “It’s a relief. It’s not the best grade, but it’s the grade of hope for me and it’s really encouraging”, says the student. If the grades go up, it’s because everyone is now working from home. As since the beginning of the year, Jeremy Fontanieu is in direct contact with families. So that day, he calls them to announce a new phase of the school year: preparation for the grand oral, one of the major exams of the baccalaureate. For him, it is important that parents understand the challenges of each school stage. Jérémy Fontanieu also wants to prepare his students for another crucial stage: that of post-baccalaureate.
