This Friday therefore marks the first photo of this blended family: a few hours after ending the suspense that some saw as torture, and pending a presidential speech, Emmanuel Macron meets the government on Friday morning with eight new heads, for a final Council of Ministers at the Elysée Palace before the summer break. Without major upheaval, but with eleven changes all the same in the ministerial team, Emmanuel Macron and Élisabeth Borne finally pressed the reshuffle button on Thursday, after having left their troops waiting for several weeks.
Exit Pap Ndiaye, Isabelle Rome or François Braun, all from civil society, and hello to MPs and political specialists. Of the eight entrants to the government, six are, in fact, elected to the National Assembly, one is mayor of Dunkirk and the last was the former chief of staff of Elisabeth Borne. The executive couple arbitrated after taking stock of each minister, according to those close to the president. Education, Health, City… The files are numerous

Aurélien Rousseau, propelled to the Ministry of Health, will not be idle either. The hospital crisis and the fight against medical deserts will be his major projects. Elsewhere, the executive expects a lot from Sabrina Agresti-Roubache, appointed Secretary of State for the City. The Renaissance MP for Bouches-du-Rhône notably recovers the “large map of Marseille”dear to Emmanuel Macron, but also the question of neighborhoods, a few weeks after the riots.
And then the executive intends to put forward the subject of the Environment at the start of the school year.
