The leading union in nursery and elementary schools expects strong mobilizations in many departments such as Bouches-du-Rhône, Pyrénées-Orientales or Haute-Vienne with more than 50% of strikers, Seine-Saint- Denis (55%) or even Paris with 70% of school teachers on strike, detailed its general secretary, Guislaine David.

The strongest mobilization in National Education as part of the protest against the pension reform dates from the first day of mobilization, organized on January 19. The ministry had recorded 42.35% of strikers in the primary and 34.66% in the secondary (colleges and high schools). The unions had announced strike rates of 65% in secondary schools and 70% in primary schools.
