A great display and a first shock for the Blues. Hervé Renard’s players face England, Friday May 31 at 9 p.m. (live on France 3 and france.tv), at the St James’ Park stadium in Newcastle, for the Euro 2025 qualifiers, which will take place in Swiss. After their victories (1-0) against Ireland and Sweden during the first two days, Wendie Renard’s teammates hope to continue their flawless performance.

Facing them, the Lionesses, finalists of the last World Cup against Spain, are second in the group behind the French with a victory against Ireland and a draw against Sweden. At home, the English can take the lead of the group at the expense of the Blues in the event of success. The two teams have not faced each other since 2021 and a 3-1 victory for the Tricolores in a friendly match. But since then, Sarina Wiegman’s players have won Euro 2022 and reached the World Cup final.
