The loss of Bernard Descôteaux saddens me, like all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Throughout my years spent at Duty, Bernard has proven to be an inexhaustible source of inspiration. With great listening skills, he provided advice of rare relevance. I had the immense honor of receiving him when he came to meet me at the Somme tout/Le Devoir publishing stand, on the occasion of the Montreal Book Fair, in 2022. True to himself, he radiated kindness and generosity. Thank you for everything you have contributed, Bernard. Your presence will remain engraved in our memories.
