This Wednesday, April 3, Isabelle Carré reunites for the third time with her faithful sidekick Bernard Campan in And more if affinities by Olivier Ducray and Wilfried Meance, after Remembering Beautiful Things and The tasting. Adapted from a Spanish feature film, the film tells the story of a couple who invite their young neighbors – played by Julia Faure and Pablo Pauly – to dinner, who have promiscuous morals to say the least! A scathing comedy, which the team came to promote on the set of C to you this Thursday, March 28.
Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine then turns to the ex-Inconnus to talk to him about his role: “Your character is grumpy, cynical, with a very personal sense of welcome” relates the host before being cut off with humor by her guest: “Until then, it’s me.” The show continues in a good-natured atmosphere, during which Bernard Campan even blurts out, without restraint: “It feels good to play somewhat boring characters!” .

A buttock lining?
Continuing her interview with her guest, Babeth discusses a rather particular moment in the film: “Your character ends up literally losing his temper and you let go of Bernard at one point in the film, even if it means taking on total nudity, and you say to yourself ‘it was a pleasure, to do it again’, I quote you”.
Not uncomfortable for a penny, the actor retorts: “I have no problem with that, as long as we are well surrounded” A fairly formal response, until her friend Isabelle Carré interrupted her to say for her, with a big collective laugh: “From the moment we are so good at goals!”. Faced with the quip of the Cesar-winning actress, Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine even said she wondered if, like Mel Gibson, Bernard Campan had not called on a “butt lining”.
“Yes, we thought about it at one point.” he replies ironically before regaining his seriousness: “You have to be comfortable and then from the moment there is a team that is great, and we also do that for a film that we believe in, that we love”.Visibly excited by the feature film, the host specifies that there is “essentially texts, more than nude scenes” and Isabelle Carré concludes, more soberly: “It remains very elegant”.
