It’s a wanted poster that puts part of Germany in turmoil. A lioness has been reported on the outskirts of Berlin. A short video shows an animal that can make you think of a large mammal.
In the night, near Berlin (Germany), the headlights of a car suggest an improbable discovery. The image is not perfectly clear, but the animal looks like a lioness. Two walkers filmed the video passed on to the police. They say they saw a big cat chasing them last night, Wednesday July 19. The testimony was considered serious enough by the police to launch extensive search operations on the ground and from the air.
Forest walks prohibited
Police officers also claim to have seen an animal similar to a feline, still not found. German televisions therefore relayed calls for caution all day long. Forest walks are prohibited in Kleinmachnow where the animal was seen. The inhabitants of this area are also called upon to reduce their displacement. “To be honest, I panicked a bit because the animal that was seen is not the same caliber as a dog”says a resident. The authorities promise to use anesthetics first to capture the animal.
