Berlin Open | Belinda Bencic defeats Maria Sakkari and reaches the final

(Berlin) Swiss Belinda Bencic, 17^e world, qualified on Saturday for the final of the WTA tournament on grass in Berlin by beating the Greek Maria Sakkari (6^e) 7-6 (8-6), 6-4, 6-4.

Already winner of eight titles on the circuit at 25, Bencic will face Sunday in the final the winner of the other semi-final, which opposes the young 18-year-old American revelation Coco Gauff (13^e) to the number one seed of the tournament, the solid 27-year-old Tunisian Ons Jabeur (4^e).
