Bergerac Périgord Pourpre Handball remains in National One

The sports manager and coach of the Bergerac Périgord Pourpre Handball first team, Michel Cassier, has had his worst season with the club. But the essential is preserved, namely, the maintenance in National One Feminine.

Retention obtained against La Rochelle

The Bergeracoises did not want to miss the opportunity to obtain its maintenance in National Une Féminine, at home, against a direct opponent, the club of Aunis-La Rochelle. They were leading at half-time, 20-11, which is proof that they took this important match by the right end. One day from the end, Bergerac therefore obtains its maintenance, after a difficult season and numerous injuries.

Last match in the Toulouse region

It is in Bruguières, in Occitanie that Bergerac will play this Saturday, May 13, his very last match of the season. The club is ranked 11th, just behind Bergerac, 10th. This will be the last match managed by Michel Cassier. Next season the latter will remain Sports Manager of the club and has found a coach to replace him and to coach the girls of National One. After the two Covid years and the numerous injuries to senior players, this season, Bergerac hopes to quickly turn the page and set off again for a better performance in the league next year.
