This Wednesday, Périgord footballers lost on penalties against FC Versailles (1-1; 4-5). In a Rongiéras stadium in Périgueux, full to bursting with more than 6,000 spectators, the Bergeracois, led from the 16th minute, thought they could touch victory with their fingertips by equalizing in the 89th minute. They finally fell because of a missed penalty during the penalty shootout, when the Versaillese made a clear round, and slipped into the semi-finals.
