Facing the camera, the actor took pleasure in talking about his career and his private life. In a sequence, the main interested party spoke about one of his last health concerns… Intimate.
According to him, his problem got worse in 2019 during the filming of the Netflix movie “How I became a superhero”. As usual, Benoît Poelvoorde let loose on the details.
“I’m not in great shape in the film! You don’t see me running much. Besides, I refused! I even caught orchitis (an infection of the testicles, editor’s note)”, he analyzed. “I shot with a ball like a pineapple! I could never say it in promo. They didn’t want to, because it was Netflix who distributed it and now I can say it…”.
“I broke a lot of stuff”
Passionate about his profession, Benoît Poelvoorde does not hesitate to surpass himself for his cinematographic projects. “I broke a lot of stuff on set. I’ll regret it in 15 or 20 years, like Gérard Depardieu. It’s broken everywhere”, added the actor. Slowing down in the years to come? Very little for him.
However, the companion Chiara Mastroianni is much more selective as to the roles offered to him. “I don’t wonder about my age, but I know there are things I can’t do” confessed Benoît Poelvoorde and concluded not without humour: “I can’t do Bac Nord! Nobody’s going to believe me if I put on two earrings and pump up my muscles.”
