Two actors Caesarized for one and the same film. Indeed, Benoît Magimel and Virginie Efira play opposite each other in “See Paris again” by Alice Winocourt. However, the first did not receive the best actor award at the 48th Cesar ceremony for his role in “See Paris again” but for “Pacification: Torment on the Islands“. The companion of Niels Schneider, meanwhile, has indeed been rewarded for her talent in the film by Alice Winocour. This does not prevent the duo from excelling in the roles of Mia and Thomas. A “binomial” who has faced terrorist attacks in Paris and who is trying to rebuild.
Mia is however in a couple. But that does not prevent her from being seduced by Thomas. The two being connected by the terrible event they survived. A love story will then be born between the two characters. And love, Benoît Magimel tried to control it during certain scenes with Virginie Efira. Benoît Magimel admits it straight away: “She is breathtaking (Virginie Efira: editor’s note)! When I see his journey more… […] Strangely, we didn’t meet before this project. She’s smart, and brings a lot of thought to her role.”. After the compliments, the doubly Caesarized actor admits that he is not “not difficult to fall in love with her!”.
In fact, this could have posed some problems during the filming of their love scene in the film. But it was not without counting on the common desire of the two artists, to make this scene “special” so that she doesn’t look like “to any other scene of legs in the air”. “And we both chose modesty as the cursor, without warning. We focused on the makeup scars on our bodies. These two souls in pain are healed like this, with their wounds”, continued Benoît Magimel. A scene of which he has very fond memories.
