This Wednesday, April 3, TF1 and Endemol, the production company in charge of the show, revealed the outlines of the new season of Secret Story which will arrive on TF1 on April 23 at 11:30 p.m. just after Koh-Lanta
. Excellent news for aficionados of the show since the cult program ended in December 2017.
Launched in 2007, the show was embodied by
Benjamin Castaldi between 2007 and 2014 before he gives way to
Christophe Beaugrand. Moreover, the chronicler of Bruce Toussaint in Good morning !the morning show on TF1, will be at the helm of this new meeting for the fourth consecutive year. “It’s a show I have a particular affection for.” he told journalists. However, his return is far from unanimous. Even within Benjamin Castaldi’s family, there is protest. On the social network his half-brother Giovanni Castaldi expressed his dissatisfaction : “What a shame that this return is made without Benjamin Castaldi” wrote the sports journalist who shares with Cyril Hanouna’s former columnist, the same dad, Jean-Pierre Castaldi.

Secret Story Season 12: What to Expect
While the show revealed many candidates like Ayem, Benoit, Amélie and Marie… It remains to be seen whether this 12th season will be able to convince viewers while the program will be broadcast during the week at a very late time, just after Koh-Lanta
. For this new season, the channel specifies that it has received 22,0000 applications but, at this stage, nothing has filtered out on the number of candidates who will join the house or even their secrets. A house that will no longer be the same. Exit the roofs of the AB Productions studios, the residence is currently under construction in a warehouse in… Poissy in Yvelines (78).
Remember that at the end of this 12th season, the finalists should leave with their entire personal prize pool while the winner of the 2024 edition will pocket a check for 100,000 euros.
